Dual Voltage Processor

Model 257 Dual Control Voltage Processor consists of two identical sections, each of which permits several applied control voltages to define a single output voltage according to the equation:

(Va * K) + ((Vb * (1-M)) + (Vc * M)) + Voset = V_out

The algebraic manipulations possible with this module include addition, subtraction, scaling, inversion, and multiplication. Also incorporated is the capability of using one control voltage (M) to transfer control from one applied voltage (V_b) to another (V_c).

The legendary Buchla 257 module in Eurorack format. Buchla and Tiptop Audio have transferred the stars of the Buchla 200 series into the Eurorack format and have remained as faithful as possible to the circuits and design, with attention to detail. From the sound to the cosmetic nature of the jacks and potentiometer knobs, many details have been beautifully implemented here. 

The 257t module contains two signal processor strings with the following units in series: Polarizer Crossfader Offset generator These elements provide a wide range of applications for processing fluctuating voltages and fixed voltages. The four input jacks represent the following inputs: Va, Vb, crossfader CV input, Vc The module routes the above three elements into each other in sequence and has only a single output per processor string. If you want to skip a unit, you simply set it to zero.
